Do Puffers Puff?

Im concerned why you would let your Puffer's teeth get that overgrown, without taking action :unsure: poor fish, please tell me you have done dental work and helped the poor thing

lol....the poor little bugger was like that when I bought him....pics are a few years old (even got featured in an article on trimmin teeth), taken the day before he got his first trim.....since I introduced a feeding rock a couple years ago I have not had to trim any of their teeth.

Yup they do definitely puff up.
Mine did once - it got stuck in a crevice in a rock then puffed up - the stupid thing got even more stuck then lol.
Luckily i noticed and held the rock off the substrate until he depuffed and swam out.
Poor thing.
