Do I need a RO unit?

Newbie, is that in USD or CAD? I'm located in Canada, so there would be some unseen expenses.

Sean..this is the one I got and I'm just starting out too. I agree with the posts above...SW tanks, especially nanos, are sensitive systems. After all the reading I've been doing, the tanks just seem to do better with RO/DI units. It doesn't mean you can't try with a filter, but...will it be worth it if your tank crashes or you lose livestock? SH
