I have a 30l tank and am wondering if i have too many fish!

i have

2 black widow tetras (one white, one black and white)
1 3 neon tetras (2 orange, 1 blue)
2 male guppies
3 female guppies
2 maybe 1 cherry shrimp, very hard to spot
2 ghost shrimp

cheers

anyone?

Yes you are slightly overstocked, the Black Widows get slightly too big. I would replace them with 3 more Neon Tetra

As Carl said get rid of the Black Widows and replace them with 3 more tetras!

Definitely up the numbers of neons instead of having the Black Widows. B-)

Your tank will certainly be well overstocked once your female guppies have fry! :X

Elise makes a good point, in a 30l I would re-home the 3 female guppies and replace them with a couple more males or some more neons/shrimp.

3 female guppies that are healthy and of breeding age will produce ALOT of fry.

thanks everyone, i was gonna get rid of the black widows as they seem to harras my male guppies. i did used to have 6 or eight tetras but i lost a few, that was a while back now. i learned to get adult ones as they dont get into the filter!
