Do Guppies Hibernate

My two female guppies will just stay in one spot the whole day, unless I move them. They've been doing this for 3 days now! The one will eat a little bit and the other one won't eat at all!! What's wrong!!

No they don't hibernate. What are your water tests telling you, are they ok?
Have they lost colour, any marks or spots on them?
How long have you had the guppies and what tank mates do they have?

The water is fine and their colors are still as bright as they've always been

How big is the tank, many fish are in there and what species and sexes are they?

Are these females in the vase with their fry? If so, how are you filtering the water? Have you got it heated? What are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate looking? What is the volume of their home? Have you added anything odd to the tank recently such as medicine or a new decoration?

No, these females are in an actual filtered and heated tank.

water may look good but unless you test it they could be poisoning their self in Ammonia
Please try to get it tested ina shop or buy a testing kit for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.

How are your Guppies doing? If still the same try doing a few 50% water changes, try 2 per. day for 2/3 days see if this helps. I do hope you don't have them die on you.

that's not normal for guppies. they are so active little fishies. I think there is something is wrong in your water parameters. do a partial water change and test your water as soon as possible before something goes wrong.

They are acting better, I found the problem, it was me! They were cowering cause I was watching them! And they were scared, cause when I walk out of my room, they start swimming around again!! Btw I have 10 fry now!!

are your two  female guppies new? maybe they're not used to seeing you yet or preparing for birth.
