Do Corys Take Cat Naps?

My pepper corys are in a holding tank to watch for illness. They look good but very little oh so cute. I had peppers in my first ever tank 12 years ago. I loved them so setting up my 55 gal I had to have them.

Anyways. I was watching them and it seems like they are always on the go even when lights are out. But I will see them stop out of no where and rest for a bit. Is this how they sleep by random naps?

Also I was getting dog food at my pet shop that has some good fish. I saw some cute little corys. A panda I was watching looked good till it freaked out and started rubbing it's back on the gravel. Twitching along. So I did not buy any. Do they get twitchy or was it the sign of a problem? I was very disapointed to see them act crazy. Maybe the start of ich? What was this twich.

My corys take snoozes in the nook where my dracaena (non aquatic plant but I am experimenting with it submerged) leaves meet the stem at first I thought it was a bit of white dirt caught on the leave but when I touched the plant the albino cory swam out and away. I have noticed my albinos sleep in there for a couple of hours then move on, my black corys also seem to be doing the same but I only got them today so hard to say for sure.

I'm a newbie, but mine 4 peppered Cory's appear to. At random times during the day they all just chill in a corner of the tank under a plant. Then they are right back in action.

Yep, my albinos do it too! Dash about madly then sink to a stop and they are off again! lol
