i just got my cardinal tetras out of my 10 gallon to put in my 55 gallon and they had no color what so ever? Is this normal, or are they sick? Please help

**BTW** I had had my light off for about 2 hours befor hand...

colour shouldnt change ..perhaps your light is in a diferent poss on new tank and not reflecting thier collours as well . bring light to front of tank and tilt towards the back of tank and see if they shine ritch colours . our tank lights are toward the back of the tank so our customers are looking at the shadowed side of the fish . if iput light to front the fish look 1oo% more colourfull . otherwise look closely at fish .it may be the start of white spot . fish often look dull if they are getting white spot . no guarantee but worth a look and a light move to see .

My Neons look like that at night, after I've shut off the light for a bit, or in the morning before it's light out/the tank light gets turned out. Never noticed any problems that go along with it... They sleep in funny positions, too, sometimes - sort of nose-down or nose-up - makes ya think there's something wrong with 'em. Silly little fish :p

Edit: Forgot to say... Just keep an eye on 'em and check 'em over for something like ich
