Diy Yeast Co2 Solution In Tank

I have it set up like the diagram. I really don't see how the solution could be getting in to the tank. Any possibilities other than the solution getting in to the tank that the water would be brown. Also I just noticed today a hazy semi transparent film forming on the outside of the tubbing. It's only on the part of the tubing in the water, I can wipe it off. Any idea what this would be.

Are you using CO2 tubing or airline?

Airline, I may get co2 tubing soon or I might scrap the whole thing and just go for a low tech set up with ferts.

Over time the CO2 breaks down the airline and you get a leak, fluctuations then algae. I'd get rid of the CO2 and do a water change and see if it still happens, might not be the solution.

Ask at the counter dude , CO2 line tends to be more robust.

thanks they sold me airline before i think then its really felxible compared to some i picked up from somewhere >.>
