Hi Folks

First time posting here, normally Im browsing the Betta section. Myself and my girlfriend recently built a tank (cant seem to attach pics in this section) for our Mississippi Map Turtle, Tilly, who is 3 1/2 years old. Frustrated by only long, narrow fish tanks being available we made our own with a water section and a ramp up for basking in a land-section. (300 litres of water in pics, full tank is 600 L volume in wet section and 300 L dry section, so plenty of space for her). We have the required UVA/B lights over both sections for shell. We have the water heated to 26/27 C. We have found that the dry land section doesnt go above 22/23C. We would like to get a heat-lamp, such as an infra-red bulb, to warm this dry section to 26/27C also. We are worried that putting such a lamp in this section will cause problems due to condensation. All of the types available here are for vivariums for lizards etc with very little moisture expected. (The UVA/B lights are for aquariums and have water-proofed ends). Does anybody have any suggestions about putting a lamp in the condensation environment? Is it safe? Does everyone do it? Will the bulb blow glass and hurt Tilly?

Any help would be great
