yes, I put 4 screws in each side, and have a 29tall on it, it's rairly strudy. Someday i hope to hit the stand with a blow torch and some steel wool to rough it up a little.

You could go over the top like the stand I am making at the moment.

Very nice stand, i wish i had mad skills, and tools. I do all mine with hand held power tools, none of the corners are square or flush.
