Im sure it just pays to go out and buy a gravel vac.. They are cheap enough and last quite a while.. That fish highway is quite unique.. Does anyone know where i can get one of those or at least a DIY fish highway?? Also the cave is amazing im gonna make myself some as soon as my sealant comes in the mail... How much sealant did you use??

wait wait wait.. sorry, not related to the question but..

if i were to collect plants from a local stream and treat them with parasite meds and the such, they could go in my tank?!

I guess? as long as its a warm water stream! lol.

Coconut is looking great!
I'm gonna satck up some stones to make a cave.... (i can glue em with silicon right?)
Will order the gravel vac online
And will look into the physics behind a diy fish highway... thatway i'd technically have 35 gallons intead of 20 and 15

You can use silicon.. Although not all are aquarium safe.. Today i bought some slate tiles from home depot and some pond stones and i plan on breaking the tiles up into uneven pieces and glueing them all together with the silicon to make my own caves.. Technically you would have 35 but that isnt exactally true.. Like you wouldnt be able to get bigger fish etc.. Who knows if the fish would even use it to move from tank to tank instead of just for the sake of swimming..

They talk about the physics behind it on that website i think. I'd assume you can get one from them although it may be VERY expensive.
