Diy Fake Plants

Hi
looking around I've found numerous ways of creating your own fake rock backgrounds, which is great.

I was wondering if anyone here had tried making their own fake plants? probably silk would be the easiest, but has anyone tried?

fake plants can be #40## expensive, especially if you only want simple stuff.

i have lots of fake plants in my tank i just buy the kind that would go in a vivarium very large and on cost £10 to £17

I've heard of people cutting green plastic bags up and attatching them to something heavy. Not sure how well it works, and you'd have to be careful about what type of plastic you used.

Edit- here's one example, although with no photos. You could change how you cut the bag for different shapes and sizes.
