I need some diy decoration ideas. Maybe what you have done in your own tank or have seen others do. Thanks! :D

depends on what kind of decorations and what size tank. I made myself a tone of fake plants for my new tank. I had seen various examples of fake plants which had been stuck in gravel and had some sort of liquid epoxy porued over the base to keep it solid. Rather then pay the high prices asked for it I bought a tube of clear silicone for 11 bucks....a bag of river rocks from walmart for 97 cents and various plastic plants from both aquarium stores and local craft stores. Cutting up the plants and using the rivier rocks for weight... I took the bottoms of medium sized disposable cups...placed a rock in it and filled it with silicone. After that I poured just enough of my gravel to cover the top and flatten it out. Then I put the variuos pieces of plants into the silicone...wether it was grasses...or amazon sword plants etc. They turned out awesomein my opinion and will be much easier to blend in rather then the normal bases they come with. :kana: I was also able to buy some scenery like large roots and silicone some of the plants to it to make it appear that there is a vine growing on it etc. Add to that some rainbow slate condominiums held together with hold fast epoxy and it provides many hiding spaces.
