*update*
thought i would update people on the results of the de-wormer.
Well both angels died and i presume the 2 bolivian rams died of the worms too but didnt realise it at the time. However, i still had quite a full tank consisting of 1 SAE, 1 BN, 1 curviceps and 15 harlequins and 6 pristella tetra and so far there has been no deaths or any return sign of the worms and i only dosed once...(dosed just before both angels died)
either this means the worms have been killed off and wont return, or more likely they have died off but there is still some trace of them as i heard they have long life cycles.....
therefore, will be keeping a eye out for any signs of the worms and wont be adding anymore fish for a few weeks more, its been about 2-3 weeks since the outbreak and all looks positive.....even the cuviceps is becoming more extrovert...may find a mate for him soon!
conclusion = inconclusive.....all signs of worms have disappeared, but unsure wether or not the de-wormer was the result of this
