discus water

The above says it all really.
I have a 48 18 18 tank with 5 discus and 9 other fish, mainly small apart from a hipo cat.

I friend from our local fish club breeds Discus and does a daily 50% water change. I wouldn’t expect this is necessary for simply housing them, but it gives you a reference point of where breeders stand.

With that being said, I’d say as many as possible.

50 percent daily, but thats for breeder minimum standard. more often more better.
I always changes 50% twice a day. u must be sure with your tap water condition.
