Discus Have White Spot, Help!

It would be a better place if people just answered the questions and maybe expanded on answers

Oh for goodness sake, he got his answer about the white spot in full. He got some more opinions on the way, which were perfectly valid - stress can lead to white spot, and a group of three individuals may suffer from stress as opposed to those kept in larger groups.

It's a public forum - you post something which invites response, and you don't get to dictate how people reply to you. If you don't like something someone says, or you don't agree, you can choose to ignore it and move on, or at least acknowledge it without getting snippy.

Honestly, kicking up a fuss because some people offered EXTRA advice and help? Seriously?

Luckily many people posting on here have been grateful for extra comments and opinions from other people, and luckily their fish have benefitted from it. Personally I would rather carry on offering this extra opinion where I think it is relevant, like in the posts above. If jay or any other person takes offence from people doing their best to offer extra help, that's very much their problem.

TBH i apreciate the extra info YOU (OP) have been given. I would like to keep discus one day. I also know they need pristeen water and large space. Didnt however know a group of 6+ is essential. Thanks guys for the info .
On subject of the discussion, i dont particularly like being told the best i can provide isnt good enough but i take it with a pinch of salt if i dissagree. Please remember that nobody here gets paid for this and TBH alot of people on here asking for advice only stay in the hobby because their £100+ fish stock DIDNT just die from being in slightly wrong conditions or being fed the wrong diet. I used to feed my mbuna cichlids "cichlid flake" pic of a bolivian ram on the front somehow wasnt a give away but my 18 mbuna suvived (thanks guys!). At the end of the day take it or leeve it mate.
