Run a craft knife down the silicone joins from the outside of the tank and it should just fall apart.Well the good news is all the fish in the 29 gallon are doing very well. The plecos ignore each other and stay in different areas of the tank. The skirt tetras get along fine with the Bolivian ram and the Tiger Barbs. I cleaned up the very dirt 5 gallon and added new gravel to the tank and wil move the 2 surviving neons into it tomorrow. Will add lots of anubias to the 5 gallon and an ornament so they should be fine for now. May eventually add a few shrimp and a nerite snail.
Now I just have to figure out how to break the 35 gallon hex into pieces for disposal without getting broken glass all over the floor...any hints on doing that?
I didn't' lose any fish in the process. All's well that ends well.
I was going to suggest a single sided razorblade and cut the silicon from both sides.Run a craft knife down the silicone joins from the outside of the tank and it should just fall apart.
