Hi,
I've had a bit of a problem with algae for a while in my tank, recently bought one of the sucking fish which has eaten all of it which is great. Just one problem there are spots of algae left all round the tank which I cant seem to get rid of. I've tried using a magnet thing and a scrubbing brush but they dont get it off. I scraped at it with my nail which seemed to work but its so slow, wouldnt work for the whole tank. Any suggestions for removing stubben algae??
Thanks,
Annabel xx
:D

I use an old plastic credit card which is pretty effective, would love to hear some other ideas though as this takes a long time

new plastic scouring pads (for washing saucepans etc) can work miracles but only tried it on a glass tank ...dont have a clue if its for plastic sorry

the best was to get rid of algea i have found is give the tank less light then normal like only leave the lights on 2 or 3 hours a day. It have worked great for me
