i have 3 yellow coloured platies and 5 red/orange platies with black tails and fins.

does anyone know the names of my fish or have pictures to help me identify them?

please help? -_-

:flex: ♂ I would say the red/orange ones with black tails and fins
would be sunset wag or sunburst wag platies (the term wag I think always
refers to the black fins).
Do you yellow ones have any other markings, like a black mickey mouse design
or maybe some black trim on the fin edges ??
The way platies are bred and the strange color combinations that sometimes occur,
it may be hard to say exactly what you have.

yes the yellow ones do have like a micky mouse design on them. my female just had babies but they got eaten by the frogs :byebye: the frogs have now moved!looks like she got some more to get rid of yet tho so hopefully will have some fry soon.
i don't have pictures yet but will get some asap. i don't think they're a mix cos they look prety normal to me.
i'll tell you something: the red/orange ones are like the picture for platies on this website on the fish index.

oh, wait. just looked at that pic, they're a bit different to that. they have black fins and that one doesn't. soz.
the yellow ones are also kinda see-through.

how do you put pictures on? i read the pinned topic on the fish pictures forum but there isn't a brouse box under my text box! hmmmm......
