Hi...was just curious cuz I saw two different corycats today...green corydoras (which I bought) and Emerald green corydoras (which I never heard of before)...so whats the difference? Really curious (but too lazy/busy to do a search rite now)...hope someone can help! The emerald green ones looked a bit bigger...so is it a size difference or were they just older? (The green ones are babies still)...hmmmm....

You can get c. aneus, the bronze/albino cory, a fish which looks similar are species of brochis they grow bigger but are similar to cories.

'Emerald green cory' is the name given to Brochis splendens which grows a little larger than your typical cory. You may also sometimes see them just called 'green cories' or 'emerald cories'.

The smaller fish were almost deffinately just Corydoras aenus - your typical 'bronze cory' - that is assuming they were not just younger brochis!

She's saying the smaller cories were likely to be c. aenus unless they were smaller brochis, quite simple :)
