I know I'm never going to make alot of money with my apple snail babies, but...
Would you agree that some colours are worth a bit more?
For example out of a clutch I have from my dark stripey purple and my light blue. I'm pretty sure I've got some light plain purples (pinkish ivorys) + ivorys...
Looking at the %'s, around 85% of babies are probably going to turn out like mum being purple with dark stripes and a dark foot.
This makes me think the genes for the ivory and plain purples are probably recessive and so a little bit rarer.
Again, let me stress, I'm not thinking I'm going to make my fortune in snails
lol.
But would it be fair to say that they are worth more?
Oh and would problems arise from breeding siblings? I'm totally in love with the plain purples and ivories. I was tempted to keep a few, but obviously they are directly related..
