I woke up this morning and Diego was laying on the bottom of his tank and he had his fins clamped and his face was tan instead of dark blue. Whats the matter with him?

Has he come around at all yet?

Sometimes when my fish are left in the dark and I turn the light on, their faces are really pale white and they seem disoriented. Guess it's like waking them up.

Is he still that way?

Sounds like it could possibly be a bacterial infection. Is he in with anyone else? If so I'd isolate him first in clean water with aquarium salt. You might need to start him on some anti bacterial meds. I am assuming he hasn't been doing any flicking or rubbing and there's no sign of an injury?

Hes wimming around now but his fins are still clamped and his face is dark brown now.

He isnt living with anyone. He is eating and he is going to the bathroom fine. Right now im treating my goldfish for a bacterial infection. Should I give him the same meds?

If he's eating and swimming okay, and you don't notice anything wrong with his poo, I wouldn't medicate. Clamped fins and loss of color could also be stress related. Don't medicate unless you are sure what's wrong with him. You might do an extra water change just in case his tank has a build up of amonia, or other water quality problems.
