Did Midnight Eat My Baby Pleco?

Is it possible for my betta Midnight to have eaten my ansistrus? I found him dead with his fins nibbled and was wondering if Midnight could have killed him as he was very small.

What else is the tank apart from the plec and Betta? And how big was the plec?

I have the betta and 4 panda corys. The plec was about 2.5cm long.

I dont think a betta would of ate it to be honest.

At that size I too doubt the betta could have killed it outright . It may have died from some other cause and the betta and cories nibbled on it afterwards. A Plec , even one that small can easily outswim a betta if nothing else, unless it was weak for some reason.

I agree, the plec probably died from something else and the betta and cories snacked on him Poor little plec

i hope the plec didnt have some disease that my betta and corys could now have!

Do a water change and keep an eye on them. That's about as best you can do.
