Dicus in with other cichlids

will they get on alright with other cichlids up to 10cm

Depends on the species you are thinking of putting in with them.

Give us a few example of what you have in mind.

Perhaps Convicts, Keyholes, Golden Labs, Zebra Blue Cichlids peaceful cichlids and maybe in with some catfish too.

Keyholes....maybe.

As for the rest NO WAY!!!!!

With the exception of cories, catfish would be way to active for Discus. They would end up being stressed out, which may lead to health problems for the Discus.
