This is the layout of my tank at the moment, I couldn't be bothered drawing fish, I just wondered what would make it look better?

maybe add more plants? and rocks/slate? more bogwood?


its upto the indevidual how they want their tank, take some time out thinkin how u want ur tank to look, have a look at others tanks in the members section to see if u can incoroporate(sp) their ideas into ur own?

Putting larger plants at the back and smaller ones at the front creates the illusion of depth in the tank. Having your gravel or sand sloped up towards the back also does this.
I've found that smaller stones make a tank look cluttered and bigger rocks look better in my opinion.
It's really a matter of taste.

Yeah, bigger rocks are nicer. I like making little "castle" things out of slate and sandstone and such. Add more plants too.
