this rock i have is full of holes n bits all over it for the fish to hide. i can't take the fish back now as its been more than 48 hours. i researched the saulosi loads n also got told on here they would be ok. i just thought saulosi was the short name for them n demasoni saulosi was the full name. they looked similar n the label said demasoni saulosi for sure as i was over the moon as they ain't had them in before. should of really dawned of me as their was no yellow fish in the tank with them. can't workout how to put pics up again. but when i do ya should see that two big rocks and the 4 small ones is quite alot for the tank. na never seen lake malawi but the tank has alot more rock in it than some tanks i've seen online. suggestions as i can't take the fish back?

Why cant you take them back? No matter how long you've had them they were clearly missold and thats reason enough for the shop to take them back.

nope. they won't take em back. rung n asked. im getting 6 more this thursday to up the numbers. there is more rock in the tank now. alot more slate. its my Nokia lumia thats stopping me upload pics. it don't even work via bluetooth to other phones. how many of these really peaceful demon fish can i fit in my tank? its 1000x500x500mm. thanks

dont mean to hijack this topic but i have 3 demosani juveniles and two of them get along great. they swim together and at night when i turn out the lights they play in the bubble wand..lol the third one is a loner but none of them harass any of the other fish, once in awhile they chase each other but not for long.. do you think is just because they are young..I love these guys and am hoping they dont become the demon fish everyone says...

Everything gets along when they're young. If they didn't, none of the babies would ever live after being born.

i see the pic didn't work. its in the diy section on here. my three get on ok. the two young ones swim around together and the big one don't pay either any interest in them but they seem scared of it. the tank is 240 litres so quite a nice size for dwarf mbuna im guessing. all fish are different and these we're breed in captivity like most so really don't think their as aggressive as ppl make out. time will tell though but before then im going to get some more. none bother the peacocks. was thinking about adding some salousi but dunno if i can. was going to ask here but unsure whether to bother as my head may get bitten off again.
