could someone show me one not fitted in a sump plz im tryin to decide if ill need a sump on my new tank or not as ill be gettin it in the next few weeks

i dont have one but i would get a sump as they add extra volume to your tank and it hides equipment. all you see with these skimmers is 2 pipes that go in the tank.

im really struggling to get my head round a sump it looks mega confusing im normaly really good with stuff like this lol can u buy premade sumps cheap? and anyone have a link to diagrams of how they work? ive been googling and u tubeing but stil dont get it lol sorry for stupid questions
