You are right, many of us over feed, we just can't resist - so it is good to run a phosphate remover in a canister filter, skimmer or reactor

Any recommendations?
ROWA PHOS :good:
PHOSPHAT R {EXPESIVE 3x££ BUT CAN BE REGENERATED 5 TIMES} VERY VERY GOOD
CHEATO REFUGE {HANG ON TYPE POSSIBLY WORK FOR YOU} :good:

How long does it last?
USALLY AROUND 4 -6 WEEKS DEPENDING ON PHOSPHATE LEVELS IN YOUR TANK,

(Always remember to check for ph4 in the tank and at the out let of the reactor or canister where you have the media as soon as the level begins to rise it’s time to change the media. Failure to do so will just mean that all the trapped ph4 in the media will leech back out into the tank)

Can I just put it in a media tray inside my canister filter?
Yes
but the preferred method is to fluidize it as this is a far more efficient way of using the media, some think like the two little fishes 150 hang on reactor would be perfect
Hope this is of some help
