Sounds like you might have had a Mildew type thing going? fungus? Never know what might be picked up from it.
Well, i was out looking for some good pieces of wood to add to the tank at a couple LFS, MAN! i didn't realize how freaking expensive that stuff is, they wanted $13 (Candian) per KG (for the americans, thats 2.2 pounds)!! and for anthing thats worth while putting in my tank i'll need to buy at lest a couple 2 KG chunks... *sigh* I remembered this hobby being expensive, but not this expensive. (heh, at lest for a poor student it's expensive)
