White Gravel
Bog wood
and some form of stone.
white pebbles.
Co2 fitted

My tank is a Fluval Deep Duo 800

Currently holds 5 Angel Fish.

I really wanna make my tank modem but nice for the fish and I really like the idea of White Gravel.

Anyones thoughts?

I had white gravel and white pebbles in a tank a while back, but found it hard stopping them discolouring!

i always find white gravel and pebbles area #28### to clean. Have you thought about sand? you can get nice white sand that wont decolour like gravel will. Sand looks much more natural as well in my opinion. my angels love the sand.

You can still get a modern look, but much easier to clean, with black substrate.

I had white sand and it's a nightmare! It gets covered in algae and then you can't get it clean; I had to just keep siphoning the top layer off and throwing it away.
I found pale sand, like argos play stuff, nowhere near as bad for some reason. Black though, is so much better. It will show up your fish's colours better too :good:

did you have any fish that turn the sand? iv got some corys that go around moving the sand so it doesnt get algea, but in my gravel they cant do this so i get algae coverage all over the gravel. :S black sounds good though.

I have just resacped my tank with black gravel, some dark slate, black 3d background, white shells, pebbles, plants and bogwood. I had thought it would have been to dark but its the oposit, looks clean modern and the fish have brightened up a treat. Why not try something like that.
