I have finally narrowed my Tank options down to the the link below.I want to keep Live Rock Fish And corals which will mostly be soft but a few hard corals. Can anyone help me chose between the folowing 2
P.S The 204 Litre Tank is slightyl more expensive because it has T5 overtank Luminaire
204 Litre with T5 (This also includes the external filter which is for marines with the cabinet aswell, its the big empty tank on the webiste!)

215 Litre Tank

Many Thanks for any help :)

honestly, it really depends on the power of those lights. If those lights are not sufficient enough to hold the coral you want its a waste of money because your going to need to buy the lights anyways. And the bigger the tank, the more light you need which naturally makes it more expensive.

I agree with wflash - both of these tanks are a compromise.

I'd separate the tank/lighting decisions. Buy the tank you want - probably better one without a hood as well, then you will have wider lighting options. Then decide what lighting you want. If you go down the live rock route then the external filter isn't really needed either.

I bought my tank second hand and also bought T5 lighting. Still have the hood for the tank gathering dust in the garage. Subsequently sold the T5s and bought halides as my coral collection widened.

ok the 215 litre tank has 2x 30W tubes and 1x 25W which i can upgrade to Marine Artctic White.I have prices up how much it is for Juwel rio 240 with Arcadia Overtank Luminaires and for the full marine setup with cabinet etc it came to ober £850.! So with the lights given above what sort of corals can i keep and are all fish ok with any lights?
Thanks
