Decided On Argos Sand.... But....

Well 2.99 for the sand you cant go wrong. Oh and two new buckets at £1.28 each. So im not fussed. Il keep the old gravel JUST incase it doesnt work out.

Il have a look if iv got any pics of my vision 180. I had asda play sand in that but basically the same thing as Argos

Sorry they are not the best but that's the only ones iv got with play sand. Only others are of my rio 400 with finer sand before I swapped it for the black Sand

They look great! Im reading on here that argos changed their supplier and the sand is different now? Is this true?

Hmm not sure. I haven't seen anything on it but then again i haven't looked. Can't see how it would differ that much to the sand they had previously

im not 100% sure thought. im guna play sand my tank in the next couple of weeks. change from gravel!

Ive removed 90% of my gravel today and water changed 10% ready for my sand switch over tomorrow. I have asda, tesco and argos all on my doorstep and they all do sand.

I am using B&Q play sand, and I think it looks great.

I think they will all be pretty much the same so it's take your pic

If the Argos sand is darker now then I think it would look better. Also It always looks a lot darker in the bags (no matter where its from) to what it does when it's in the tank.

Just be sure to rinse the sand (a lot) before putting it in your tank.

I have tescos play sand in mine. It's great and it was easy cleaned ( they must clean it well before bagging it)

I got one bag from smyths toy store. That sand is terrible, the stuff that comes out when cleaning is ridiculous. Avoid at all costs!
