boyfriend went to feed my fry last night and noticed one of my fish was dead. not a baby, but the algae cleaning fish we had, Shrek. anyway, we'd noticed for a few days that the other fish had been chasing him around the tank quite a bit and when we got him out one of his fins had been nipped at. i checked for fin rot but it def looks like it's been nipped at more than anything else. all my other fish are fine this morning. zooming round the tank like loonatics as usual. i'm getting my water tested thgis morning by my lfs and i'm gonna move my babies to a new tank.
we changed a filter pad a couple of days ago when we found we had babies. reckon its this? or something more sinister?
