Thanks, yeah it was definitely a smart buy na there's no extra light I just think the shiny finish on the background is reflecting it better.

Yeh, its pretty visual ain't it?!

Could you not try hide it at the back of the tank somewhere? So at least its a bit out the way?

It would be better the other side but the cable is short, I'm sure I could find a smaller heater some where

Very nice tanks. I love the shape of the piece of wood in the smaller tank. It would look lovely with some anubias nana here and there on the branches.

Hello everyone, been ages since I updated this journal. It turns out the current aquascape was causing a lot of waste build up so I stripped it down and took it back to basics. I've now got it set up as a nice little low maintenance tank. Hope you guys like it

I grew tired of the tacky ship in there so I've added some left over plastic plants from my nano project. They don't look brilliant but a little more "natural" and the shrimp seem to like them.

Get the inline external heater! I got it! Yet to fit it! Waiting for my current one to fail lol! Liking the set up! Your tank is always looking nice!
