Daylight savings nonsense rant.

The UK went onto GMT at the end of October.

When I was at school in the 1960s, it was abolished for 3 years but reinstated. It didn't get light in Scotland till mid morning in those couple of years.

I want to live in Alaska at least for one year to experience 24 hours of daylight/darkness. I'll either become a better human or go completely crazy 🤪

Year ago here in most states, there was 6 months of Daylight saving time and 6 months of standard time. Right now there are 8 months of daylight savings time and 4 months of standard time. It would be less of a change to go full daylight savings time than to go full time standard time. And I like more light at the end of the day. So I say, go for Daylight Savings time year round.

It's noon wherever you are when the sun is directly overhead. Only the modern industrialized people of today think that the glowing digital numbers on an LED clock can change that. Turn off the gadgets and go outside.

DST is already 2/3 of the year anyway, just make it ALL year...

Post some pics of your sundial....

Sundial? Do you need sun for that?
Sun.
Is that the glowing Deity that lives behind the clouds and fog?

We have a short sun period problem, even here in the south of the north, as the Inuit I used to hang out with called southern Canada. Either way, we'll have a lot of December darkness, either in the morning or evening. Somewhere, we get cut off. I wonder how people in the south of the US look at it? I guess you don't get those wonderous summer evenings when there's still light after 10.

I don't think anyone is going to listen to a fish forum. Too bad. We could solve stuff!

Yeah, we could wise people up. I could anyway.

I haven't put my alarm clock back... Mostly cause I just don't feel like doing it and it's a waste of my time...
My dad did all the other clocks in the house and my phone automatically changes so I really don't care what my alarm clock says at this point... Plus its broke so I can't even set it to get up 😒
