Danios

I'm starting a ten gallon tank and i'm thinking about getting some danios. But as they are schooling fish i nepp a couple. Would different types school together? Like zebras and leopards together.

yes but I believe they need atleast a 20 gallon to be happy.

yes danios of diferent species will shoal together, given the lack of their own species.
Due to the level of activeness 10 gallons is really to small for any danio other than dwarfs(D.nigrofasciatus) or D.erythromicron additionally all danios need to be in groups of at least 5, this is to reduce their "aggression" levels.

I would say, if you can't get the two danio species named above, that your best bet is something like a small tetra or a microrasbora

White Clouds will school with everything, though, which is why I'm not worried about the fact that I have only 3 rather than the more desirable schooling sizes of 5, 7+. Since I have fuller school of other breeds, they merrily follow along with them quite happily. I find my Danios want to school more by themselves though, so I am either going to have to get 2 more, or just get rid of them.
