do Danios lay eggs? mine has a big belly, and i know its not called pregnate i just dont know the right term for it.

I have a female zebra danio and she is fatter than the males. Sometimes she gets a bit fatter than normal but i never see any eggs but i think that this might be because they're scatterers and eat their own eggs before i get chance to get a good look!
And a pregnant fish is called a 'Twat' apparently!

This is for goldfish only, I believe.

The proper term for egg-laying fish is "gravid".
