Sounds like it was a sucess. The eggs are about the size of a pin head if they are white they are not fertilized clear ones are. They can stick to the moss and keep the moss with the fry because it will have the microorganims they need to eat. Should hatch in day and half to two days but sometimes it takes longer. In another couple of days they will be free swimming and need to be fed, Here are a couple links to pictures.

Do you plan on keeping them in the 4 gallon to start them? The hardest part of raising the fry will be the two weeks after they become free swimming due to their feeding needs.
