Danios Living in Fishless Cycle???????

my aunt told me that they are perfect to help make your cycle speed up and also they help your tank mature, because your adding food and there just living there etc.

erm if adding fish then it is not a fishless cycle.
anyway yes zebras danios (danio rerio) are often used to cycle tanks.

Or leopard danios (they're hardy too) :p
yes leopards but as they are a man made morph of the zebra they are not as hardy as zebras.
wcms and platys are good choices too
I maybe wrong on this (no expert on livebarers) but guppies cvan be used as well

IMHO no  but I have heard of people using cardinals for cycling

seriously? Do you know if the cardinals survived it? I thought cardinals were one of the most delicate tetras...

Corrosive are you trying to work out which of your planned fish to cycle with?

I went a bit crazy and stocked my tank with diamond head tetras, glowlight tetras and green tetras and caused the tank to crash
All the diamond heads survived, 2 glowlights died and i lost one green tetra but that was to a fungal infection.
I have heard that tetras won't survive a cycle but mine did (just about)

HTH

what is meant by "crashed" then?

My tank was cycling then i overstocked it and it started cycling all over again after a massive ammonia spike which killed off the unfortunates :X

That's a crash. It can happen even with an established tank if something goes wrong.
