After a lot of research my Danio Kerri have turned out to be Danio tweediei, the Kedah Danio.
There is some debate as to whether the name is valid with some considering it to be a morph or regional variation of abolineatus.
Either way it is a rare little beauty and I don't think they've ever been identified or spawned in the uk before.
There are some youngsters on sale At Chiltern Aquatics in Befordshire labelled danios at about 75p each.
