Dangers Of Moss Balls?

It would more than likely affect the shop bought ones, as the wild ones have more than likely been introduced to a far larger amount of infections and diseases, but there is a small chance of the other way too, but not as big.

Not really unless you are educate in what disease look like and have ur own labritory tbh like the others have sed its a small risk but it would be s*ds law that you would get the disease in ur tank personaly i wouldnt risk it :)

Is there anyway to test the water for diseases?

But there's not like a testing kit I can get to test for diseases? I know there's testing kits for testing the levels of stuff like PH, Ammonia, etc.

I started a new thread about disease detection at: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/382928-is-there-anyway-to-find-out-if-theres-any-diseases-in-my-tank/. The reason I did this is so it will "attract" more people knowledgable of the subject of disease detection. Thanks for all of your help!
