I just got two new harlequin rasboras and they are following each other in circles and twitching together.
They are not nipping and seem to like each other's company. These are my first Galaxy or harlequin rasporas.
They look happy and most of this occurs near the bottom of the tank. Anyone can verify this is normal behavior?

My male harleys do it all the time.
Very vicious showdowns, (ha), lots of sizing each other up, then twitching around each other. Then they look like they are mouthing insults to each other, then that done, they swim off all very proud of themselves.
Very cute to watch.
Only time they will seriously chase off another male is when they are trying to entice a female into the jungle, and those females are hard to please when it comes to the perfect leaf.
