They weren't on the top, that was the reason why I put the hot water in the first place. I really want to know if they will be fine on the bottom, i'm not really concerned with them not coming on top. Just afraid they will starve if they stay on the bottom.

There is leftover food on the bottom floating around, but they do not seem to take interest in it. They are not showing any signs of stress, they do not have clamped fins, breathing normally, swimming actively. So I don't think that they are sick, they just don't come to the top

well hey some fish dont like it... you just put them in a wee bit ago right?! maybe they are being shy... do you have any hiding places!?

I have a bunch of plants and they tend to stay near them. Whenever I go near the tank, they hide behind the plant, so I guess they are shy. Why weren't they shy when they first went into the tank, maybe they were just exploring, then decided to hide. If this persists, and they do not eat for a while, I will inquire about it.

By the way, I never said this, but they are leopard danios. All danios are good for cycling correct?

It is probably not the chloramines that are affecting your fish. But if you do not dechlorinate your water properly you should eventually have a problem. So no it may not fix the problem you have but it will prevent future problems from arising.
