I am starting a fishless cycle soon and i was wonder what i should use a source of bacteria because i dnt hav an alreayd established tank. Also does if the tank is larger does the cycle process take longer? Ohh yea why are the fishless cycling pages down that are posted and pinned? Any help with my questions is appreciated

a larger tank won't take longer to cycle, it will just require more ammonia to "fill it up"

Okay thanks, also though i was wondering what i should use a source of bacteria because i dnt hav an already established tank what do you guys suggest that works best?

Personally I'm doing a fishless cycling with nothing but the ammonia. You could try and get some bacteria from a local fish store or you could but a product called Bio-Spira that has worked for some and not for others. You could also try Cycle from hagen I belive, which people have had mixed results from. Hope that helps some.

You don't need a source of bacteria, that will grow itself, you do need a source of ammonia though. Dont bother with bottled 'bacteria', its dead.
