) can someone with some patience please explain the process of cycling in an inhabited tank and a new tank!!!? sorry i just didn't even know you had to cycle a tank!

If the pinned topics don't answer all your questions - let us know and tell us if you have a tank already set up WITH fish in it (in which case tell us which fish and how they are doing) or if you currently have an empty tank and you want to know what to do with it before you put fish in it?

In either case tell us tank size, if you have access to an established tank, and whether you want to cycle with fish or without.

Don't worry about not knowing - I doubt anyone does before they start I was just lucky I bought a biOrb which has the best manual I've ever seen on fishy set ups!
