Cycling A Marine Tank?

How do you cycle a saltwater set up? Is it done the same way as a freshwater set-up? Do i cycle with live rock in from the start?

in a freshwater tank you are cycling to create the bacterial colony in the filter, in a marine tank with live rock, the bacteria is within the rock and the die off from the rock is what kicks the cycle off in the first place.

so yes, mix your water, add rock, wait and test.
