First thing this morning there were still some nitrites left, so I didn't dose any more ammonia and left it...
Just tested and new results:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 80+
I've redosed ammonia and hopefully in the morning it will be better. Ammonia is and has been for a while getting processed well under 12 hours now, nitrite is also processing in under 24 hours but I need it to get to the 12 hour stage now - hopefully not long!
One thing I've realised with the nitrAte tests - the bottles need really shaking before you add the drops. My first test again tonight was odd until i did that.
It took my ammonia 24-48 hours to get from the dropping in 24 hour stage to the 12 hour stage, I hope I'm not far away now!!
