Cutting Mushrooms ? Hurry

I was told you could cut these mushrooms in half when there sliding off a rock on to another and both sides are attached ? and they will heal and become two is this correct

Some mushrooms fair better when you do this than others, best way to try just one, and then you will know for sure. I have had great luck in cutting and rubber band fragging mushrooms

it is attached to two rocks right now both ends should i cut it down the middle ?

Cut the mushroom so each half of the mushroom has a peace of the mouth. So yes, down the middle. There is a greater level of success in propagating Shrooms when you cut them in half, rather than "slices". Goodluck

Yes, but only if need be. I have propagated one Mushroom, and it turned out well!
