I'm looking to cut a section of glass out of my new 5ft tank. The area I want to cut is a redundant piece of glass - so it won't affect the tank's structure.
Here's two images to make it easier to understand: Image 1 and image 2.
I can fit one external filter hose through the gap but I'd like to be able to fit two hoses through the gap - hence why I need to cut that section of glass out.
Would using a tungsten carbide-coated blade do the trick? Any advice is greatly appreciated![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Edit: The tank was previously owned by a friend of mine. It looks as if a section of glass was taken out already.
