Right before my daughter went to bed tonight we were looking at the eel so snuggly in his hole, so we decided to snap a pic, one of the nosey angels came to look and it just worked out too perfectly
That's adorable!!! I just love that eel, though he is so strange looking. He seems so incredibly friendly and such in all your pics with him in them. I thought he was bigger than that too.. but your angel is probably just big. Does he always sleep in that hole?! Aww I just wanna snuggle him... kinda.
I love him, he's the cutest little guy...I wanna snuggle him too
Naaah, that's just one of his many hangouts, he has a weird cave rock that he gets into at night, also full of holes for him. There's so many hidey spots in that tank, it's ridiculous...I haven't seen my kuhlies in months I catch them foraging around every now and then
Forgot to ask you - do you know what kind of eel he is? I think I remember a long long time ago you researched him and found out, but I wouldn't blame you if you forgot. I'd LOVE to have one if they're available anywhere.. though I have a feeling they're not or you'd have more.
I'll find the name, no matter how many times I look it up for people...I always forget it ) bkk posted a story once of a wild betta hunt and the searchers found a couple of these eels along the way
I'd love more like him! I found him at Petco last May, in a molly tank looking miserable buried under the large rocky gravel, had to have him!! The guy sold him to me for 3.00, he had no idea what he was or what to charge me
Julie~ I believe that he's a cross between a mastacembelus and a macrognathus, he resembles both species greatly. I've also seen them labeled as zig zags, although I've been told he's not a zig zag, he resembles them in the face though
thats a great pic and i really like that eel but he's not snuggley! how can those people think an eel is snuggley i don't know. But one thing is for sure i would'nt snuggle with him.
Or maybe im just wierd naaahhh
