Hi, I recently bought a 125 gallon second hand, and it came with these lights. Google tells me that the "current" version of the lights has a much more fancy controller/remote, but the version I have matches this product:
I know it's meant for a saltwater tank, but appears to have white light option as well so I don't see any issue using it for freshwater (in fact, the person I bought it from used it for freshwater).
I was wondering, do any of you have experience with these lights? There are two bars each of which goes halfway across the 6ft tank. I got two remotes, and two controller boxes for them. I know literally nothing about these. Are they good? I suspect they're probably better than the "kit" lights that come with tanks, but is there anything I need to know about them (are they going to be super strong and I need a ton of floating plants?)?
Interested in your thoughts, feedback and advice!
